Who are you?
How did you get here?
How did the universe come into being?
And, most important,
Where are we headed as a planetary society?
Look at the world situation today. What do you
see? Wars, poverty, illness, and injustice. Increasing global warming and pollution.
A political
situation that is out of control.
Our
planet is messed up because we have been taught that competition and conflict are inevitable; that human
nature is savage and barbaric, and must be controlled. We are taught that you only go around once, and that
when you die, you’re dead.
Such a belief degrades a human being
to a pile of mud, and leads to a self- conception of unworthiness and limitation.
It is a lie, and a
denial of our divine, spiritual nature.
Without a true understanding of self, individuals --and
our species --must inevitably struggle! That is what has
been happening for the past 5,000 years.
Isn't it about time for a change?

How did the physical world come into existence?
The Law of Conservation of Energy states that energy can neither
be created nor destroyed. If that is so, then all of the energy in
the universe must have existed, without reduction or increase, since
the first instant of time.
But matter can't create other matter! If you don't believe
that, try asking the chair you are sitting in to make another chair.
Ask the cart to pull itself without a horse in front of it, or ask
your car to start itself without turning the ignition or pressing
your remote!
Could the universe have appeared magically out of
nowhere?
Of course not. You can't create something from nothing. A house
doesn't get built without a blueprint, and a cake doesn't get baked
without a recipe. if that is so for such simple things, it is even
more true for life forms, planets, stars, and galaxies.
Do you believe that 1,000 monkeys could type out Tolstoy's "War
and Peace," if given enough time? Do you believe that the universe
evolved from the random interactions of matter and energy after the
Big Bang? If you believe that, then I've got a used car I'd like to
sell you!
If you study nature and science you understand that the
universe is well regulated. Something so well regulated doesn't
"just happen." There's a vast and magnificent
intelligence behind the design and maintenance of the universe.
